We Will Miss Her

LESLIE MONSKY

Sadly, one of our great inspirations died August 14th, 2026. Yayoi Kusama inspired us to have bountiful, colorful décor. Through her artwork, she taught us you can never have too many polka dots and much more. Her polka dot prints were ubiquitous. She was the Van Gogh of polka dots. We loved spotting her tending her polka dot garden all over the world - in Washington, DC, at the Hirshhorn, in NYC at Zwirner Gallery, in London at The Tate Modern, in the windows of Louis Vuitton…

We will miss her, but her work will live on.
