Winter Markets

Great merchandise isn't all on the internet or in brick and mortar stores. During the winter months, there is a delightful street market on the West Side of Manhattan. I found the most delicious food in these outdoor stalls of farmers from all over the area. One of my favorite purveyors was the potato farmer. Not only did he sell potatoes in a variety of forms and colors, he sold his own home made potato chips! They were delicious and look pretty too. My favorites were the purple ones. I like to think of food as an integral part of home decor. What can be more decorative than a bowl of red and green apples, yellow bananas, or purple potatoe chips? These decorative things are what makes the room decorations warm and special. We love decorative accessories that change with the season. I can't wait to see what Nature brings for my spring table decor. I look forward to lillies and daffodils for Easter decor and so much more!
